Abdoulaye Lo

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Abdoulaye LO is in charge of monitoring and evaluation at Teranga Capital. Abdoulaye has more than 7 years of experience in data collection, processing, analysis and reporting.

He has held the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in various development projects for local/national and international organizations. 

He is a graduate of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and holds several certifications in the field of M&E. His main motivation is to positively impact the community.

Adrienne Ndong

Investment Officer

Adrienne was a financial analyst at FONGIP and a senior technician in insured annuities at Industrial Alliance (Quebec). She is a graduate of Laval University (Quebec) in market finance. She loves to travel.

Berry Ndiaye

Investment Officer

Berry is an investment officer.
She is mainly responsible for monitoring the portfolio and appraising investment opportunities. Before joining Teranga Capital, Berry worked for both government SME support agencies and private equity funds, developing her knowledge of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and the investment landscape in sub-Saharan Africa. Berry holds a degree in Finance from the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG).

Carine Eba

Analyst

Carine is an Analyst.

Carine began her career with an investment consultancy dedicated to the African diaspora. She then joined WIC Capital, an investment fund focused on women-led businesses in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Université Felix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan, as well as a Master 2 in Management and Decision Sciences with a specialization in Finance from the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG).

Cédric Békouin

Project Officer

Cédric BEKOUIN is Project Officer.

Cédric joined the team in 2023 and works on the seed financing of several sub-regional programs. He previously held the position of Corporate Analyst / Attaché Commercial Entreprise at Société Générale Sénégal for 2 years. Cédric holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from CESAG Business School Dakar (Senegal) and has completed certifications including ICCF in Corporate Finance from HEC Paris, Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) and CFA investment foundations.

Djiby Ndiaye

Program Officer

Djiby Ndiaye has been Program Officer at Teranga since January 2021.

Djiby has several years of experience in the NGO sector as a Project Manager. Prior to joining Teranga, Djiby was a Microfinance Associate Technician at the American NGO Catholic Relief Services (CRS). He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Finance from the Institut Supérieur de Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Applied to Organizational Management from the Assane Seck University of Ziguinchor and is certified in Project Design and Management by the Bioforce Institute.

Ibrahima Ba

Director of Operations

Ibrahima Ba is Director of Operations at Teranga Capital.

After some twenty years’ experience in private sector development support and business management, Ibrahima joined the team in February 2023. Before joining Teranga Capital, he spent 8 years setting up and developing the local branch of an international network of SME managers (Enablis Entrepreneurial Network), and managing the design and implementation of multi-sectoral programs to promote entrepreneurship. Ibrahima previously worked as a competitiveness specialist for the Comité d’Orientation et de Suivi de la Stratégie de Croissance accélérée at the Senegalese Prime Minister’s Office, and as a consultant and technical advisor to several international consulting firms (DAI Global, Chemonics, MSI, IRG, EnCompass, JE Austin…) on various projects to support private sector development in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.

Ibrahima holds a Master’s degree in Development Practice (MDP) with a specialization in Economics from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Howard University in Washington DC.

Ingrid Assena

Office Manager

Based in Dakar, Senegal, she joined the family in October 2019. She was previously an executive assistant at Ocean Archi’v. Indgrid holds a Master 2 in Strategy and Marketing from the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) in Dakar.

Jean Mermoz Kouakou

Analyst

Jean Mermoz KOUAKOU is an analyst.

Before joining the team in June 2023, Jean Mermoz worked for 2 years for the Délégation à l’entrepreneuriat Rapide des Femmes et des Jeunes au Sénégal (DER F/J) as a project portfolio manager. He had the opportunity to work within this structure under the supervision of the President of the Republic, on the financing, implementation and follow-up of projects proposed by women and young people in Senegal. Jean Mermoz was previously in charge of monitoring and evaluation at the Société d’import export d’Abidjan.

He holds a diploma in Project Management from CESAG in Dakar, and is self-trained in leadership and team management through the associations in which he has been active, including the Association des Étudiants Stagiaires et Managers Africains, where he was one of the presidents.

Mohamed Ngom

Investment Manager

Mohamed joined the team of Teranga Capital in 2018. He began his professional career in Paris at Crédit Agricole S.A. as a Basel 3 Ratios Analyst, and later joined Africa Capital Advisors Senegal as a Financial Analyst.

He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense University.

Myriam Koné

Seed Funding Officer

Myriam KONE joined the Teranga Capital team in 2023 as Seed Project Officer.

Myriam is responsible for monitoring the portfolio of I&P Accélération in Sahel, I&P Accélération Technologie and I&P Digital Energy programs.

Passionate about political science and cultural discoveries, she holds a Master 1 in Accounting and Financial Management, and is currently completing a BAC+5 at the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG).

Nora Fall BA

Communication Manager

Nora Fall BA is a Communications Manager at Teranga Capital.

With 10 years’ experience in Strategic and Operational Communications, Nora has demonstrated her expertise in Strategy and Business Consulting, Business Development and Project Management, as well as Public Relations activities with the media.

From 2016 to 2020, Nora supported the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation by organizing institutional advocacy operations to support the alignment of technical and financial partners for the Africa Resource Center project. There, she accurately and efficiently coordinated large-scale initiatives aimed at strengthening public health systems in West Africa.

Driven by a burning passion for the continent’s development, Nora is actively dedicated to supporting SMEs and catalyzing sustainable partnerships between the private and public sectors. Her passionate commitment in these areas reflects her vision for a more resilient, prosperous and inclusive Africa.

Olivier Furdelle

Managing Director

Olivier has 20 years of professional experience, among which he led since 2009 several investment transactions in SMEs and start-ups in various countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

Previously, he was Vice-President Business Development & Planning at Belgacom, Belgium’s leading telecommunications and ICT player, where he managed mergers & acquisitions and equity investments in start-ups. Previously, he co-founded a start-up and was also a consultant at Accenture and KPMG.

Sanou Kane

Financial, Accounting and Administrative Officer

Sanou Diouf Kane is in charge of financial, accounting and administrative affairs since November 2020.

She has several years of experience in accounting and financial management. She held the position of Accounting Manager in a subsidiary of FONSIS Polimed.

Sanou holds a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences and Management “option Computerized Management” from the UGB Saint-Louis/Senegal

Thomson Ragouena

Analyst

Thomson joined Teranga Capital as a Financial Analyst, where he is involved in all stages of the investment process, as well as monitoring portfolio companies.

Thomson began his career as a Retail Account Manager at Banque Atlantique in Togo, for a period of six months. He then held the position of Investment Assistant at AFIG Funds, a Senegal-based private equity fund specializing in investments in growth companies. This experience broadened his understanding of finance and honed his ability to evaluate investment opportunities.

Thomson holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures en Comptabilité et Gestion Financière (DESCOGEF) from the Centre Africain d’Études Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) in Senegal.
